While not a very significant addition to the Half-Life 2 storyline, Lost Coast still introduces a new face or two.

Old Fisherman St. Olga Inhabitant The old fisherman is the first face Gordon sees, and appears to be quite the forgetful type. He can't quite remember what Gordon's name is but he knows that he is "that scientist chap." He asks Gordon to enter the town of St. Olga and get rid of the headcrab launcher that is devastating the surrounding area.
