Chapter 5: Exit 17
 Catch
up with Barney outside. He'll lead you to a group of survivors that
need your help. Lead the group across the field and into the train
station. You'll meet little resistance at first, but each will become
progressively harder. There will be a sniper to deal with (use your
rocket launcher), and eventually a combine vehicle armed with rockets
and a machine gun (a few more rockets will take it out). There is a
rocket crate near the train station entrance. There will always be
soldiers approaching from the hospital exit, and busting in through the
windows in the train station. There are lots of health packs and
chargers in the resistance base and the train station hallways.
After you bring the last group across, Alyx and you will enter a
train yard. She will crawl through a garage, leaving you to fight the
strider that shows ups. It will make a pathway for you through the
storage crates, just keep running. There are many power-ups to keep you
going along the way. Eventually you'll reach a ledge with a rocket crate
1. Take down the strider, then navigate
through the rest of the train yard until you meet up with Alyx. Hop on
the train she prepares and enjoy your last(?) view of City 17.
