Half-Life 2: Episode Two Storyline
After narrowly escaping City 17 and the destruction of the Citadel,
Freeman and Alyx find themselves in the surrounding forests. But the
Combine aren't down for the count just yet. The Citadel's reactor is in
the process of creating a Super-portal, capable of initiating the next
Seven Hour War. Except this time, humanity won't last seven minutes.
It's up to the pair to traverse across the countryside and deliver the
all-important data packet to the resistance at White Forest.
But it won't be easy for them. While the Combine are scattered there
is still the problem of the Antlion infestations, which have seen the
troublesome bugs set up home in the winding caverns and tunnels. Not
only that, but the Combine themselves have begun to regroup and have
unleashed the terrifying power of the Hunters against Gordon. Can the
vital data needed to save humanity from complete extinction be delivered
in time?
